
Le Gala: A Journey Through Time
The Cedars Cancer Foundation trusted our team to develop the full visual identity for its inaugural gala, an event that supported the MUHC Cancer Care Mission and celebrates major milestones across the Foundation’s history, most notably the 2025 edition marked the 60th anniversary of the foundation.
Our agency was responsible for the complete branding of the event, creating the logo, colour palette, invitation, and all print materials. The objective was to translate the gala theme “A Journey Through Time” - into a refined, cohesive visual system.
The final identity delivered a rich, jewel‑toned aesthetic inspired by the golden age of luxury train travel, supported by vintage‑influenced design elements and event‑specific layouts. The system provided a unified visual language across every touchpoint, elevating the guest experience and reinforcing the Foundation’s storytelling throughout the evening.

For us, reaching the community, raising awareness , helping our cancer patients and their families, supporting research, care and education at the MUHC in oncology, it's at the sole of who we are. And tonight, we celebrate these milestones, and this beautifully organized event.

The logo has an elegant script structure designed to evoke celebration while remaining aligned with the Cedars Cancer Foundation’s visual language. Its gold gradient finish reinforces the gala’s prestige and commemorative significance.
The wordmark’s sweeping curves create a sense of movement and timelessness. Within the “L,” a subtle ribbon‑like form is intentionally shaped to echo the universal symbol for cancer awareness.
This integrated gesture creates deeper meaning, anchoring the identity in Cedars’ mission while ensuring the mark carries both aesthetic impact and emotional resonance.
